“；Our Elements brand range continues to go from strength to strength， proving that our insight on consumer tastes becoming more contemporary was correct. When something new takes off like this， it is really exciting for the design team because it means we know that the whole business will have confidence in growing the brand and give us freedom to expand the collection and include larger items – which is why I am so very proud of our exclusive new Hansen living room furniture range.
Hansen is what we call a capsule (a designer word for small!) collection， which offers smart living room cabinetry intended for practical storagepersonalised birthday gifts， accented by delightful coffee and side tables with real character.baby pillow set
The soft furnishings to complement these are inspired by mid-century abstract art， combining the popular blend of grey and ochre with the introduction of rust， which is emerging as a strong new colour trend for home furnishings. In fact， our fab new wing back Veronika chair has grabbed the limelight by being featured on the front cover of our latest Autumn 2017 mini catalogue in rust velvet. Early sales tell us our customers are loving this direction， which I am delighted to hear.
I have been planning a kitchen project for the last three years， and it is finally happening! As I was packing away all the stuff from the old kitchen I was pretty brutal about what to keep and what to finally say goodbye to. Having now been without a kitchen， or washing machine for four months I expect you can imagine how much I have been daydreaming about the look of the final scheme and all the cooking I plan to do. As the grand opening draws near and I unpack those boxes， I am remembering all the things I promised myself I would replace rather than keep –； so the fabulous new dinnerware and storage items in this season’s Elements range will be a great compliment to my new monochrome scheme.
Bedroom and bathroom are the most established areas of our Elements brand and we are growing the number of designs each season. Whilst the look is largely unisex， we always make sure to include some new bedding patterns which have a more feminine appeal. For Autumn we’re introducing the Blomma motif， which I love because it provides floral without ‘flowery’. However， my favourite Elements products (which are going on my Christmas list， just in case any family or friends happen to be reading) are the Elements White Dot towels – classic white but with a super contemporary graphic jacquard pattern. Just perfect.”；

Each year we’re proud to sponsor the Traditional Home Hampton Designer Showhouse which benefits the Southampton Hospital. This year’s showhouse located in Bridgehampton was a fantastic success. We sat down with interior designer Tobi Fairley to talk about her master bedroom design, as well as the adjoining deck which was furnished using Ballard Designs products!
